Your GDPR Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have specific rights regarding your personal data.

Your Privacy Matters to Us

Bubble Vergo is committed to protecting your personal data and upholding your rights under the GDPR. This page outlines each right you have and how to exercise it. For questions, contact us at any time.

Right to Access

Article 15 GDPR

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data, and if so, to receive a copy of that data along with supplementary information about how it is used. This helps you understand and verify the lawfulness of our processing.

How to Exercise This Right

Log in to your portal and visit Profile Settings to view your account data, or contact us to request a full data export.

Right to Rectification

Article 16 GDPR

If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or completed without undue delay. We will promptly update your data upon a verified request.

How to Exercise This Right

Update your personal details directly in your portal Profile Settings page, or contact us for assistance.

Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)

Article 17 GDPR

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, when it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, or when you withdraw consent. Note that we may be required to retain certain data for legal or contractual reasons.

How to Exercise This Right

Submit an account deletion request through your portal, or contact us directly. We will process your request within 30 days.

Right to Data Portability

Article 20 GDPR

You have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format (e.g., JSON or CSV). You may also request that we transmit this data directly to another controller where technically feasible.

How to Exercise This Right

Contact us with a data portability request and specify the format you require. We will fulfil your request within 30 days.

Right to Object

Article 21 GDPR

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis. You also have an absolute right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time.

How to Exercise This Right

To opt out of marketing, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or contact us. To object to other processing, contact us with details of your objection.

Right to Restriction of Processing

Article 18 GDPR

In certain circumstances, you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data — for example, while we verify the accuracy of your data or assess an objection you have raised.

How to Exercise This Right

Contact us to request a restriction of processing, specifying the reason and the data concerned.

Right to Withdraw Consent

Article 7 GDPR

Where we process your data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

How to Exercise This Right

Withdraw consent via your account settings, the unsubscribe link in emails, or by contacting us directly.

How to Submit a Request

You can exercise any of the above rights by:

  1. Logging into your portal and using the account management options in Profile Settings
  2. Submitting a deletion request via the Delete Account page
  3. Contacting us directly via our Contact page

We will respond to all verified requests within 30 days. In complex cases, we may extend this period by a further two months, and we will inform you accordingly.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data or your rights requests, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection supervisory authority in your country. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). In Nigeria, this is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
